Poll workers are a very important part of the operation and administration of Town elections. We are always looking for additional people who would be willing to work at the polls for the elections. For some locations, we need substitute workers who can fill in when needed. For Presidential or larger elections, we need additional people. If you are interested and eligible to vote in the Town of Eaton, please contact Paulette Vogt, Town Clerk at 920.758-2720.
A Poll Worker must have a 3 hour training session before they can work at the Polls. Please contact the Clerk, 920-758-2720 for the schedule for the training sessions.

Alderperson candidates must reside in the Town of Eaton.
Completion of Campaign Registration Statement - Form EL-1. File when candidacy is publicly announced, before circulating nomination papers or expending/receiving funds for candidacy.
Completion of Declaration of Candidacy - Form EL-162
Completion of Nomination Papers - Form EL-169.
Candidates must collect 20 (minimum) to 40 (maximum) signatures of qualified electors within their district.
Nomination papers for offices to be filled at the spring election may be circulated no sooner than December 1 preceding the election and may be filed no later than 5:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday in January preceding the election, or the next day if Tuesday is a holiday.
All forms can be obtained from the Town Clerk's by appointment.
Deadline for filing above forms: Forms must be filed with the Town Clerk, 17828 Hwy C, Valders, WI 54245 by appointment (we cannot accept faxed or e-mailed documents). All forms must be filed by 5:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday in January preceding the election, or 5:00 p.m. the next day if Tuesday is a holiday.
